Tim Carr

President / Chief Creative Officer

A pioneer in profit-driven marketing solutions, Tim has more than 15 years of experience directing top-performing marketing campaigns. After leading some of the most successful direct programs for America Online, he founded Creative Lift in 2003.

Tim understands how to motivate audiences of all demographics to respond. His clients know they can rely on him and the Creative Lift team to quickly and efficiently create results-lifting solutions to their most complex marketing issues–and that's why, no matter where they go in their careers, they always come back to Tim and Creative Lift.

Tim is a Packer fan in a sea of 49er faithful. The cheese hat only comes out on special occasions.

Rachel Rapaport

Managing Director

With more than 15 years of experience in direct and interactive marketing, Rachel joined Creative Lift in 2009 after spending 10 years in the trenches at Ogilvy and Digitas in New York and San Francisco. She is passionate about combining "big agency" thinking and strategy with the flexibility and efficiency of a boutique shop–providing the best of both worlds to our clients and teams. Rachel has delivered holistic solutions for American Express, BGI, Charter, Eli Lilly, IBM, Jaguar Cars, Mars, Microsoft, The Weather Channel, and Wells Fargo. On behalf of these clients, Rachel has been presented two DMA Echo awards, an OMMA, two Addys, two IAC awards, and a Cannes Cyber Lion.

Rachel has worked as a nursery school teacher and as a counselor for emotionally disturbed children, which means it's nearly impossible to surprise her–but people still try.

Bennett Miller

Executive Creative Director

Bennett arrived at Creative Lift in August 2011 with over 20 years of experience writing and driving creative excellence for agencies on both coasts. After his first job working on Diet Coke and Timberland Shoes at Lintas New York, Bennett traded his TV for a '77 Celica and headed west. Since landing in San Francisco, Bennett has led creative teams at Grey SF, Frankel Brand Marketing, MRM Worldwide, and Rauxa Direct, developing digital and old-school DM for brands including Microsoft, Logitech, Intuit, BofA, Visa, and more. Bennett believes elevating creative standards is the responsibility of the entire agency–and he takes great pride in helping his teams aim higher.

Bennett has lived in New York and San Francisco, and his dream is to one day live in America.

Matt Schmidt

Director of Interactive Production

Matt has been obsessed with bringing order to interactive projects for over 15 years. He is a strong believer that a well-defined process is necessary to elevate the agency experience. Employing a variety of project management methods from agile to waterfall, he works with his team to adapt and customize project processes to address the specific needs of each client.

Prior to joining Creative Lift, Matt was executive producer at IconNicholson, a digital agency in New York City. He has worked with a variety of clients including Nestlé, Time-Warner Cable, the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and Ziff-Davis. He also led the Web communications team at biotechnology innovator Genentech, and cut his project management teeth at a variety of dot-com startups during the first boom.

Matt is an avid amateur winemaker. When he isn't bottling syrah, he can sometimes be found in a pair of crampons, scaling the slopes of Mt. Shasta. The wearing of crampons in the office is frowned upon.

Diana Manning

Sr. Director of Technology

Diana joined Creative Lift in December 2010, bringing over 10 years of digital agency experience. Most recently at Tribal DDB, working with high-profile clients like Clorox, Visa, SunPower, and Safeway, Diana led technology teams in the development of complex interactive sites featuring CRM, e-commerce, and social, mobile, and content management systems. Previously, Diana was a member of the development team at Modem Media (now Publicis) working on eBay, Sony, Dolby, Sprint, Michelin, and BFGoodrich.

Today, in addition to leading her developers on high-profile projects like the Charter Bundle Builder, Diana monitors and lifts the agency mood in her role as master of the official CL Spotify playlist.
